Kimberly K. Manglberger
Kimberly Manglberger
Kimberly Manglberger is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas and a founding partner of Manglberger & Thomson, PLLC. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law.
Before becoming an attorney, Kim spent more than a decade serving Texas communities as a licensed Peace Officer. Since obtaining her peace officer license in 2013, she has served as a deputy sheriff, police officer, deputy marshal, and criminal investigator. This unique background gives her firsthand knowledge of how criminal cases are built, investigated, and prosecuted.
Today, Kim uses that experience to provide strategic, client-focused representation in criminal defense, family law, probate, estate planning, civil litigation, and mediation throughout the Texas Hill Country and surrounding areas.
Criminal Defense
Few attorneys possess the combination of legal training and real-world law enforcement experience that Kim brings to criminal cases. Kim received extensive training in DWI enforcement during her law enforcement career and is certified in the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Her understanding of roadside investigations, field sobriety testing, and arrest procedures allows her to identify issues that may affect the validity of a DWI arrest and the admissibility of evidence.
Appeals and Post-Conviction Relief
Not every case ends with a trial. Kim also represents clients in criminal appeals and post-conviction proceedings, including writs of habeas corpus. Stephanie Thomson is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas and a founding partner of Manglberger & Thomson, PLLC. Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society from the University of Texas at Austin, where she developed a strong understanding of the social, economic, and personal challenges that often intersect with legal disputes. She later earned her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law, where she refined her litigation skills through clerkships with firms specializing in defense litigation and civil disputes.
Today, Stephanie focuses her practice on civil litigation, personal injury, estate planning, real property matters, and related legal services throughout the Texas Hill Country and surrounding communities.
