Kimberly K. Manglberger
Kim is an attorney licensed with the State Bar of Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University and obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. Kim has also held a Texas Peace Officer license since 2013.
When it comes to criminal law experience, Kim has it all. As a licensed Peace Officer for over 12 years before becoming an attorney, Kim has served in the positions of deputy sheriff, police officer, deputy marshal, and investigator. She knows the challenges faced by law enforcement officers, but she also knows the procedures they must follow and the common mistakes that are made in criminal investigations. This thorough knowledge of the criminal justice process from the streets to the courtroom gives her a distinct advantage in criminal matters.
Need DWI Representation?
As a law enforcement officer, Kim received extensive training in DWI enforcement and is certified to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Knowing the ins and outs of DWI enforcement, Kim has an edge when it comes to DWI defense.
Wrongfully Convicted?
Criminal matters don’t always end at conviction- some cases need to be reviewed by a higher court to determine if a Constitutional right was violated during the initial trial. From initial appeals to writs of habeas corpus, Kim understands the complexities of appealing a criminal case and provides unmatched post-conviction criminal defense representation whether you’re actually innocent or have had your Constitutional rights violated by the state.
Other Practice Areas
Kim also has experience with family law matters, including custody disputes and modifications. As a mother herself, she understands what’s at stake in any case involving a child and will always fight for the child’s best interest.
Kim also handles Probate and Estate Planning cases, offering comprehensive Estate Planning Packages that include wills, POAs, and other documents to protect your estate and your heirs.
